Every episode about the study group at Greendale Community College involves some sort of conceptual high-mindedness: alternate timelines, stop-motion animation, elaborate parodies of Apollo 13 and Hearts of Darkness, a sprawling blanket fort, a post-apocalyptic paintball battle.
