Whitney Houston dead at 48
Whitney Houston, the Grammy Award-winning singer of such hits as I Wanna Dance With Somebody and I Will Always Love You, the latter of which was featured on the soundtrack for the film The Bodyguard (in which she also starred) and holds the record for best-selling single by a female artist, has died. She was 48 years old.
The cause of her death is as yet unconfirmed, her publicist Kristen Foster said.
