Getting into the holiday spirits
I love my family, and I bet you love yours, too. But we seem to love each other even more after a couple of glasses of Prosecco. Drinking is notorious for bringing a flush to the cheek, for throwing an arm around a previously unacquainted shoulder, and for taking the edge off compulsory quality time. Over the holidays, when whole days are spent making small talk with extended family members, lots of people depend on alcohol — from seasonal beverages such as eggnog to an appropriately aged Bordeaux — to make things go a little more smoothly.
